At the end of 2011, I was invited to join in a beta testing group for a new cellular company called Ting. We loved the service, and quickly moved all of our phones from Verizon to Ting. It came with a price because we got nailed on early contract termination from Verizon, but we now have FOUR smart phones, all the data, text, and minutes we need, and are paying UNDER $80 per month for the plan. There is no contract, no hidden fees, and absolutely no surprises. The only hitch is that they run on the Sprint network, and data service is only available if you’re in the Sprint data coverage area. Voice and text work everywhere at no additional cost. Tethering is free, so you can hook up your computer with a USB cable or use the phone’s built-in portable WiFi hotspot. None of this comes with any additional charges. For this plan with Verizon, it would have run us well over $400 per month. Ting launched their on February 1, 2012. Enjoy! CLICK HERE FOR $50 OFF YOUR PHONE!
