Remote Computer Repair
To save time and resources, we usually attempt to fix things on your computer remotely. It’s very simple, safe, and secure. To get started, click on the big red HELP button you see on this page.

If your computer asks you whether you want to save the file or run it, just select the RUN option. If your computer automatically saves the file, you’ll need to double-click on the icon where your computer saved the file to open the program.
When the program is ready to go, you should see our logo at the top of a small window, and a button that says Show My PC Now. When you do, click on that button. After you click the button you will be presented with a password. Assuming you’re on the phone with us, just tell us that password, and we’ll be sharing your desktop and able to try to resolve the problem. You’ll be able to see what we’re doing the entire time, and you will also still be able to control your computer.
For those of you who are concerned about security or just wondering how this works, read below:
This executable will open an SSL-secured session to a private SSH server in our office as well as install a temporary VNC server on your computer. Once the support session is terminated, the VNC server will no longer be running, and the SSH connection will be terminated. The SSH session uses TCP port 443 in order to circumvent internet restrictions on certain networks. If you are using a proxy or cache server, you may find that this support session will not work. Nothing is permanently installed on your computer. We are running a licensed version of the software provided by ShowMyPC.com.
